Tom has done a fantastic job in both of the homes I have owned. As a single male, I have tried to do some decorating on my own and either could never find the exact piece I was looking for or what I put together piecemeal did not fit well. Enter Tom Holley who has lived and visited all over the world, and, thus, has a great perspective on all design types. What is great about Tom is he can come in, spend an hour or two speaking with you and is able to pick up your design personality exactly and match that to your budget. I had spent hours going to different furniture stores not able to find what I wanted, but he was able to narrow the choices for me.
The first home I owned in Dilworth sat on the market for over a year before I bought it. When I sold it in the spiraling housing market in 2007, I sold it in one weekend (2-3 days) at my asking price. I am certain this was due to the exterior/interior design colors as well as the interior furnishing choices that Tom and I made. In my next house, Tom consulted on every tile piece, color, lighting, doorknob, etc. as well as all the furnishings. It all feels like the best custom-made suit I could ever own- to put it in the male perspective.
I have recommended him to several people who adore his ability and have further recommended him to others. He designed the interior of one of my colleague's home on my recommendation. This house just sold with multiple offers within a week of listing with some of the buyers wanting the furniture included.
I'm so glad I chose to work with Tom who gave me a truly unique home that I love coming home to every night and that others admire!
